Highlight of the Global Musicians’ League summer festival, internationally celebrated pianist Ian Jones, Deputy Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music, is joined by Professor Mark Messenger, the renowned Head of Strings at RCM, and young pianist, Misha Kaploukhii, for a programme featuring works by Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Clara Schumann and culminating with Chopin’s monumental piano sonata in B minor.

Ian has been praised for “possessing the ‘pearl’ touch that marks out the finest Chopin exponents” (Classic FM Magazine) and for his ability in Chopin to “transform passages often treated as superficial rhetoric into something thoughtful and communing” (Gramophone).

Mark is known across the globe for his multifaceted career as violinist, conductor, highly respected teacher and vibrant educationalist.
